Sit'n Wait'n, Wish'n

Greetings from Newark!

I woke up bright and early this morning feeling VERY happy. I was able to ride with my dad to the airport on his way to work and pretty much talked his ear of with excitement!

The first segment of my flight went swimmingly and I arrived in Newark around 1:00 PM. This left me with about 7 hours of sitting around the airport trying to entertain myself.

I find myself pretty entertaining though, so the time has flown by and I don't expect to be updating quite as much when I arrive in Delhi.

However, just for fun, a few things that occurred throughout the day....

Exchanged my U.S. dollars for rupees and am now feeling pretty legit.

Saw a two year-old with a hard core mullet. I REALLY wanted to take a picture, but decided that would make me creepy. BUT, I was reminded of other situations in which I've seen children with awful haircuts

Realized that I only packed super high fiber snacks. Fail. So much for not spending money on airport food...

Got some work done. I promised my dissertation that I wouldn't neglect her over the next month...
